Taekwondo 1st Training and Meeting ...2011
Welcome back to school . I believe that during holidays, most of you din really exercise . This is a chance for you to learn from ZERO .
*JUST WEAR SPORT WEAR( uniform is preferable )
* Time : 8.15pm- 10pm ( every tuesday and thursday )
* Venue : Pusat Aktiviti USM Engineering Campus ( 4th Jan 2011
onwards )
Bilik Kuliah 1 School of Civil Engineering, USM Engineering Campus (6th Jan 2011 only)
* Annual Fee : RM 0.00 ( free of charge )
WHY TAEKWONDO USM ENGINEERING CAMPUS
@ will be healthier ( mentally and physically )
** energetic to do assignments , projects or designs ...
@ Experienced 2 instructors during training ( 5th Dan and 6th Dan )
@Will be more self-confident, self-disciplined, coorperative
@ Have the chance to represent USM to tournament, MASUM or grading
** For last sem, we have 2 members successfully got the 1st DAN black belt,
one member got Red 2 , one member got yellow 1 and one member got
double promotion to yellow 2 ....congrates to them
@In the past last sem result, all of the members got 'A'.... To get 'A' is nothing
impossible....For the past , we not only produced QUALITY trainees, but also
trainees who can benefit in his/her CGPA .
@We are not only specialized in training students in terms of sports, but also IN
SOFT SKILLS such as leadership, communicationn, etc. We have plenty of
activities held which mostly give chances to members to join as committee
members.
@ We really appreciate the contribution of each member in activities by giving
awards such as Merits ...This award is recognised by us and also by USM
Student Affairs ( HEPP ) . With this award, you may also get accomodation
hostel in campus USM Engineering Campus.
SO, LET'S GRAB THIS CHANCE. This club is the one stage for you to succeed
in all aspects , sports, academic( CGPA ), health ,softskills,etc .....

USM OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2010 TAEKWONDO (MTA/WTF) TOURNAMENT
Venue:DEWAN UTAMA,KAMPUS KEJURUTERAAN,UNIVERSITI SAINS MALAYSIA (USM).
Date:22nd, 23rd & 24th January 2010
Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kampus Kejuruteraan, Taekwondo Club (MTA/WTF) will be collaborating with Unit Sukan USM & Pertubuhan Taekwondo Bersatu Pulau Pinang (MTA/WTF) to organize the “USM Open Taekwondo Championship” project for academic session 2009/2010. This project will be held in the Kampus Kejuruteraan, Universiti Sains Malaysia according to the date and venue as stated below.
Event:
Free Sparring (Full contact sparring event)
i) Group I : University category, Amateur; belt colour green 2 and below
(WTF system)
ii) Group II : University category, Professional; belt colour blue 1 and above
(WTF system)
iii) Group III: Open Category (Age 15 and above)
Poomsae (Open)
i) Female Individual Category ii) Male Individual Category iii) Mixed Team Category (1 female, 1 male)
The closing date for entry forms will be 11th January 2010. However, if there are any difficulties in doing so, do not hesitate to contact the organizer. We do accept confirmation through fax. All entry forms can be faxed to 04-5941005 (ATTN: Taekwondo Club) or send to 6324C, Desasiswa Jaya, Kampus Kejuruteraan, Universiti Sains Malaysia, 14300 Nibong Tebal, Seberang Perai Selatan, Pulau Pinang.
